Buenos Aires, Latin American Law Program, Day 13

Second to last day of class, woo hoo!  Finally.  I was coming to the realization that my time in Buenos Aires was quickly drawing to a close.  So, we have to make everything count.

La Cabana Las Lilas is probably the most renowned restaurant in Buenos Aires.  It's a bit of an institution.  It's the most recommended place, and, since it's expensive (by Bs As standards), it's full of tourists, though also quite a few locals.  Amelia had eaten there the previous evening, but was still down for going again.

Amelia, Zac, Brandon, Amir, Mikeal and I headed over for dinner.  We made a reservation for four, but still had to wait.  When we ballooned to six people, we had to be moved inside.  But we still had a nice view of the water.

Brandon, who had been there several times ordered the best sides.  The meat was really good.  Overall, a quality meal with great wine and great sides.

After dinner, we jetted over to meet us with the Buenos Aires Pub Crawl, which was happening in Puerto Madero that evening.  Luis had recommended it, so we went for it.  It's a really good deal.  Apparently, this was their first time to do it in Puerto Madero, and they had a really huge crowd, including quite a few locals.

We ran into one of our friends from the hostel in Valparaiso.  She, apparently, used to work for the BA Pub Crawl.  We hit a few bars that went from being empty to being outrageously packed as soon as our huge group of people arrived.  First stop, Unico Bar.  Second stop, Tres Quarts.  On the way to the third stop, we pass by Asia de Cuba and get distracted from the group.

We headed to INK in Palermo not long after getting separated from the group.  It was a pretty douchey club, but we still went.  And got bottle service. Twice.  Even if if was something out of Jersey Shore, it was fun.  We consumed a little too much Vodka con Speed (the equivalent of Red Bull, not narcotics) and headed home sometime after 5am.
